In partnership with the Slovenian debating organisation Za in Proti (ZIP), zavod za kulturo dialoga and Faculty of Arts we organise a series of debates to stimulate active and intelligent debate around the 'hot' topics from our society.

For the debates we have chosen a number of controversial motions and have engaged experienced Slovenian debating teams to argue for or against them, in English, using the British Parliamentary debating format. We also encourage the audience to ask questions or raise points of information after the formal debate, and a vote for or against the motions will be recorded.

The debates will take place in Lecture Room18, Faculty of Arts, Aškerčeva 1, Ljubljana. Numbers will be limited and we would like to attract a well-informed and interested audience.
