*The speaking component may be held any-time within 7 days before or after the written test.

PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

Payment:

			on receipt of your application form you will be issued with an invoice which you can pay at any bank;
			you must then return a copy of the payment slip to the British Council either by post, fax or bring it in personally.

Please note that once the test fee has been paid it is no longer possible to postpone or cancel the test and you will lose the full test fee unless you are able to provide appropriate medical evidence to support the cancellation.

To apply for a refund you must:

			complete a Request for Refund Form,
			attach a medical certificate,
			send it to us no later than 5 working days after the test date.

We will reimburse you 75 percent of the fee if your request is approved. Refunds will only be considered in cases of illness, loss or bereavement or death of close family.

TEST RESULTS

The test results will be sent to you by registered post on the 13th day after the test date. Please note that only one personal copy of the Test Report Form can be sent to each candidate. We are not able to release the results earlier and we are not allowed to give you any information regarding your results over the phone, by fax or e-mail.

We will send copies of your Test Report Form directly to institutions on your behalf within the two years of their validity.  We send up to 5 additional copies free of charge.

	NEW!    ONLINE RESULTS We are pleased to announce that it is now possible for IELTS candidates to view their results online from 14.00 hrs on the 13th day after their exam date. This service is available to all candidates who have taken the test on or after 12 July 2008. To access your results please go to the IELTS Online Results webpage and follow the instructions.

Results are valid for two years.
