CALENDAR: DATES AND PRICES
Cambridge ESOL exams

The dates for the Reading, Writing and Use of English components for PET,  FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC and ILEC are set in advance by the University of Cambridge and cannot be changed. They take place on the same day around the world but the speaking component may be held on different dates.

Please note that the registration dates for our exams are considerably in advance of the exams themselves and are strictly adhered to!

Fees are valid for exams during the Autumn 2009 session.

November/December session:  28 September - 7 October (for ILEC until 2 October) - for registration procedures please visit the How to Register page 

You cannot enter for only part of an examination. All components must be taken on the dates specified and it is not possible to take part of an examination in one session and the remainder at another time.

Speaking Component

The dates for the speaking tests are set by the British Council and may be held on a different day than the written components. These are usually one or two weeks in advance of the main exam date or may be one week after the written tests (see window period below) - depending on the availability of examiners. You will be informed of the exact dates in the Statement of Entry which you will receive at least two weeks in advance of the first test.

*Window periods for speaking tests in November/December

PET - written and speaking tests will be taken on the same day.

FCE/CAE/CPE - all written papers will be taken on the same day; speaking will be between 1 - 20 December.

BEC - written tests will be taken on the same day; speaking will be between 21 November - 5 December.

*You must ensure that you will be available during the window period as changes to the timetables cannot be made once they are set.
