LATE ENTRIES
Within a certain time frame after the end of the registration period, late entries may be accepted provided that the candidate pays a late entry fee. Please contact the office where you wish to register before you send your late entry.

CONFIRMATION OF ENTRIES AND EXAMINATION TIMETABLES
Candidates are issued statements confirming their entries, timetables and venues for the written papers and arrangements for the Listening and Speaking tests three weeks prior to the exam date.

TRANSFERS
Entries cannot be transferred to a future session or to a different exam level. Transfers from one centre to another are permitted only for all papers.

REFUNDS
If a candidate withdraws his/her entry on medical grounds or misses the examination due to illness, he/she may be refunded 3/4 of the regular exam fee (no late entry fee is taken into consideration) provided that the Request for Refund form is completely filled-in and sent to British Council Bratislava, Examinations Services, no later than one week after the exam. The form must be accompanied by a statement from a medical practitioner.

RESULTS
Statements of Results will be sent to all candidates, irrespective of their grade, two months after the exam. The actual certificates are issued only to candidates with passing grades approximately three weeks after the Statement of Results. Candidates have to collect the certificates in person or, alternativelly, they will be sent to them via registered post.  

SPECIAL NEEDS
For candidates with special needs, such as dyslexia, it is possible to make arrangements with Cambridge ESOL for extra time, large print, or Braille. Candidates must send their special needs requests before the end of the registration period accompanied by medical evidence. For special needs no late entries are accepted.

DISCLAIMER
The British Council and the Examining Boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or re-testing at a later date.
