Preparing for an exam

You can register for a course in our Teaching Centre in Bratislava  or other language schools which run preparation courses. A variety of materials is available in good language bookshops and on-line.
You can also purchase the Cambridge English Past Papers from us.

Choosing the right exam

Generally, the higher the level of exam, the more recognised, accepted and valuable it is. It is very important that you choose an exam at an appropriate level for you, otherwise you may find it too difficult and fail or too easy in which case the certificate will not correspond to your real proficiency level. We suggest you ask your English language teacher for advice.

False beginners

An elementary level exam, testing your ability to deal with basic written and spoken communications.

An intermediate level exam, testing your ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communications.

An upper intermediate level exam - ideal if you can deal confidently with a range of written and spoken communications.

An advanced exam - if you can communicate with confidence in English for work or study purposes, this is the exam for you.

A very advanced level exam - perfect if you have achieved a high level of language skills and are able to function effectively in almost any English-speaking context.
