www.sng.sk The Slovak National Gallery (SNG) is the largest museum of art in Slovakia. In its collections it has over fifty-five thousand works of ancient, modern and contemporary art. In addition to exciting exhibitions it prepares for you a variety of cultural and educational programmes for children and adults.
In the Esterhazy Palace in Bratislava viewers can see interesting exhibitions. Many of them were awarded the Exhibition of the year prize (New Slovakia, Lost Time, Gothic, Renaissance, etc.). The individual exhibitions are always accompanied by rich programme (lectures, guided tours, workshops, animations, movies, concerts, etc.). In the summer, visitors can also go to the so called SNG Summer Pavilion or to see a movie in the Summer Cinema in the amphitheatre SNG. In addition to the premises in Bratislava, SNG consists of another four branch facilities: Zvolen castle, Mansion of Strazky in Spisska Bela, Ludovit Fulla Gallery in Ruzomberok and Gallery of Naive Art in Schaubmar mill in Pezinok-Cajla.
