Knowledge Aid for Sierra Leone is a small but influential project funded jointly by UK and Sierra Leonean institutions. The project aims to develop the ability of schools to tap the internet as an educational resource. Currently there are computers and trained teachers operating in six sites in Freetown. From 2005 the Project will move into provincial areas. We have supported this project since its inception in 2001, and two members of staff sit on the Project Board in Freetown.
