Café Scientifique
Your cup of science

Get ready for another round of great science television in Serbia!

Café Scientifique is back.

This year, we are taking our long-term partnership with RTS (Serbian Broadcasting Corporation) to a completely new level and jointly raising standards of science communication in Serbia.

For the brand new season of Café Scientifique we decided to bring together a diverse mix of four young, bright and extrovert scientists to tell us stories about the latest developments in the fields of science and technology. You probably know them from before as you met them in our FameLab competition:

Momir Đekić, electrical engineer, Serbian national FameLab winner from 2010
Ivana Horvat, astronomer & astrophysicist, national FameLab runner-up from 2008
Elvira Đurđić, physicist, Serbian FameLab finalist from 2011
Vladimir Bajić, biologist, winner of the Audience Award from the 2011 national FameLab final in Serbia

Over 10 episodes, Momir, Elvira, Ivana and Vladimir will research, challenge each other, investigate and provide explanations for various scientific phenomena but also introduce scientists of national and international relevance who can give us rock solid answers to interesting and imaginative questions.

You can also join the discussion - if you want to be up-to-date with this programme or want to be informed about upcoming opportunities to be in the audience, join us on FameLab Serbia Facebook page or follow what Ivana, Elvira, Momir and Vladimir are blogging about.

Café Scientifique is currently on summer break, but you can catch up with the episodes you missed every Tuesday evening on RTS Two.

From September, brand new episodes start again -  second Sunday of every month at 2015 on RTS Two.
