| “Serbia: My Space” is a project that, through the media of book and overall visual identity of the project, presents the author’s personal views on the boundaries of mental and physical spaces. By strolling through the spaces of architecture and design, pictures and words, two-dimension and three-dimension, Mia David Zaric questions the issues of local and global, and examines the position of personal boundaries in relation to the environment. Using a suitcase as a metaphor for departures, but also, arrivals, or as a space where we keep our most important personal belongings, the author states that true limits are mental, not physical. |
