CREATIVE COLLABORATION
Partnership in the arts

Creative Collaboration is a British Council arts initiative that builds networks for dialogue and debate across the arts communities of South-East Europe and the UK. The programme aims to enrich the cultural life of Europe and its surrounding countries, as well as fostering understanding, skills development, trust and respect across borders.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE WITH THIS NEW INITIATIVE?

Improved levels of trust and understanding between artists and arts communities in South East Europe and the UK.
Enhanced skills for individual artists and arts institutions, especially in candidate countries for EU accession and countries in the surrounding European neighbourhood.
New collaborative productions that involve multiple countries and multiple art forms and that will reach more people.

HOW WILL WE MEET OUR OBJECTIVES?
Creative Collaboration will be run as a programme in partnership with artists, cultural producers and creative entrepreneurs:

Balkan Beat Music Industry Conference – in partnership with NGO Cultural Front
The Culture Lobby – in partnership with NGO Kiosk
Theatre Serbia – in partnership with the University of Arts in Belgrade
