Theatre Serbia

Project Theatre Serbia is the result of an international initiative proposed by the University of Arts in Belgrade (Serbia), Theatre Bristol organisation from Bristol (UK) and NATFA, the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia (Bulgaria) with the support of our Creative Collaboration programme. The portal is located at theatreserbia.net.

What is Theatre Serbia?

The portal offers a comprehensive source of information of relevance to the theatre community in Serbia and is intended to inform, educate, promote, advertise and wire up in order to strengthen Serbia’s theatre stage, nationally and internationally. It is bilingual, in Serbian and English, and the site users will create themselves its contents ensuring an interactive approach and a dynamic exchange of information.

What can I find on the portal?

The users are able to find (and post) diverse contents, from job advertisements to lifelong education-related information, a database about theatre spaces in Serbia, IDs of the formal and informal theatre companies and theatres in Serbia to highly specific information and advice concerning the international marketing of productions.

By combining all these elements, the website becomes an info-portal and a place with all relevant information about the theatre life in Serbia.

If you need further information about the portal or our Creative Collaboration project, please contact Ivana Đurišić in our Belgrade office.
