Connecting Classrooms builds lasting partnerships between schools in Serbia, the UK and others around the world. Through these partnerships, the programme develops trust and understanding between young people in different societies, creating a safer and more connected world for the future. Schools involved in the project will expand activities beyond the school yard. In addition to that schools with project activities will include parents, community and business sector representatives. Teachers and school leaders are supported to develop international school partnerships and integrate them into school curriculum and broader strategic plans. In this way, they enrich young people’s education, enhance their own professional development.
