Short film “Serbia: My Camera“, coproduction of the British Council and RTV B92, is a self-portrait of Brankica Stanković, journalist and winner of several national and international awards. Film addresses issues related to professional and personal values and goals, examining the area of journalism as a potential means of creating an awareness of social responsibility. Brankica pursues investigative journalism seeing it as the only form of journalism that, anywhere in the world, can bring practical results relevant for public interest, but can also push the boundaries of social awareness and responsibility. She believes that it is the responsibility of a journalist to investigate everything that the authorities or individuals try to hide, as well as that journalism is one of the most important segments of every society, especially the one that strives to become democratic.
