TKT Essentials training for teachers of English
10 October 2010, 10.00 - 18.00

TKT Essentials is an exciting program for non-graduate or graduate teachers in need of professional development, to achieve their full potential and thus model and manage their students to become the workforce of the future.

TKT Essentials aims to provide teachers with an introduction to the basic theory, associated with a communicative approach to English Language Teaching.
The course structure and content is based on the syllabus of the Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test. Students themselves will benefit from improved language skills, knowledge and a better appreciation of a multicultural environment.

The goal of TKT Essentials training is the improvement of teachers’ professional skills and consequently the quality of English language teaching in Serbia, which greatly affects the quality of education as well as understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Two trainers trained by the British Council Serbia conducted this training. The Belgrade training was the first one within the TKT Tour Round Serbia project planned for October and November.
