Dear readers, colleagues, and friends,
after several months of teaching, the 'darling buds of May' are starting to show and we can see what the fruit of our hard work is going to be like. As the school year is slowly coming to an end, this is the time to reflect on our own work. The topic of this issue is therefore Teacher Development. The ELTA Conference is at the doorstep, too, reminding us of the necessity to self-develop, to learn, to share, and – to have good time in our classrooms! To quote William Faulkner: 'Do not bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.'
Enjoy the newsletter, enjoy your work, and enjoy the spring!
