Andrew Senior, Head of Creative Industries
British Council

Josephine Burns is co-director and founding member of the Burns Owens Partnership. Her main skills are in planning for all aspects of culture with significant experience in strategy development for governments and strategic agencies at every level. She is Chair of FOCI, a high profile national network on the creative industries and regularly chairs and presents at conferences and events. Jo is a member of the British Council’s Creative Industries Advisory Panel.

Andrew Senior is Head of the British Council’s Creative Industries Unit and has directed its work since he established the department in 1999. A lawyer by profession, Andrew has also worked in the arts giving him a particular understanding of both the commercial and creative worlds. Andrew has lectured and spoken at conferences and seminars across the world, in countries as diverse as Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, India, Lithuania and Korea.
