Kate Olley, Barrister, Landmark Chambers
Kate Olley MA (Oxon) is a practising barrister at Landmark Chambers specialising in judicial review and human rights law. She is a member of the Attorney-General's Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown and edits a mental health law journal. She is a former Chair of the Free Representation Unit, which provides pro bono legal services. In February/March 2004 she led a delegation of young barristers touring Pakistan for the British Council's Law Week/Access to Justice project and was a delegate at a regional conference on Alternative Dispute Resolution held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has worked in Hong Kong and travelled extensively, studying various languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Hindi and Urdu.
