DATES
The event begins with a reception on the evening of Sunday 7 September and finishes after lunch on Friday 12 September.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION
This is a residential event. We regret that British Council Seminars cannot provide or pay for accommodation before or after the dates of the event. If you require accommodation anywhere in the UK before or after the dates shown, please contact the accommodation reservation agency used by the British Council, quoting event reference number 0349:

Hotel Reservation Service
Telephone +44 (0)20 7828 1506, 0601 (24 hours a day)
Fax +44 (0)20 7828 2881
E-mail hotels@britishcouncil.org

The participant or their sponsor/organisation must pay all charges relating to additional accommodation direct to the venue and costs must not be charged to the British Council unless previously agreed. The primary focus of our events is on discussion, debate and sharing of experience among participants and contributors. The social programme creates further opportunity for informal networking and cultural exchange. In order, therefore, to maximise the event's potential we recommend that participants are not accompanied. If, however, this cannot be avoided the Hotel Reservation Service can arrange the necessary accommodation. Please note that, regrettably, the British Council cannot extend hospitality and booking arrangements to non-participants.

JOINING INFORMATION
We send joining information to all participants before the event. This includes directions to and contact details for the venue, other advice for your visit to the UK, the latest advised time of arrival and other practical details.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
Participants should make their own travel arrangements to and from the venue. We strongly advise all participants to make return reservations before leaving their own country as it may be difficult to book homeward travel in the UK.

TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that participants make their own arrangements for travel and medical insurance before leaving their own country.

CANCELLATION
If obliged to cancel an event, the British Council reserves the right to do so without further liability, subject to the return of any fee already paid.

APPLICATIONS
As the number of places available on the event is limited we advise early application. Expressions of interest can be made direct to British Council Seminars by telephone, fax or e-mail. This must be followed up with a completed application form as soon as possible. Please send or take your completed form to your local British Council office, or send it directly to:
