How we work

British Council in Scotland identifies and acts upon opportunities for Scottish expertise in governance and society to contribute to the British Councils cultural relations mission.

We also aim to work with communities and organisations who are interested in and would benefit from the international exposure our programmes in this area offer. We are not a funding organisation in the traditional sense. Instead, we work closely with other partner organisations in collaboration to maximise the impact of our work for Scotland.

Please click on the links below to find out more about some of our projects.

For more information on our work in ‘Society’ telephone Christine Wilson +44 (0) 131 524 5714 or email christine.wilson@britishcouncil.org.
