Scotland USA Graduate Scholarships

This exciting scholarship opportunity is open to US Nationals and is aimed at encouraging bright, talented and hard working individuals to live, work and study in Scotland.

Awards are available for full time graduate study at any of Scotland's universities or higher education institutions listed here.

Courses must be masters programmes, and can be either taught or research. The scholarship is a total of £2000 (British pounds)

The scholarships are not available to US students who have already completed their undergraduate studies at an institution in Scotland.

Not only will you gain an internationally recognised qualification at a world class university, but you will enhance your career prospects with the chance to apply for the Fresh Talent Initiative, which allows international students to remain in Scotland for 2 years upon graduation to live and work in Scotland.

You will experience a rich and vibrant culture and make new friends and contacts from Scotland and around the world.

The scholarships are supported and funded by Education UK Scotland in partnership with universities and colleges in Scotland.

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship is for £2000.
