If you are a student studying outside Scotland and would like to take part in the IAESTE programme contact your local office.

IAESTE for Students

If you are an undergraduate studying engineering, science, architecture or a related subject in Scotland, IAESTE UK can help you obtain valuable work experience abroad.

A placement with IAESTE will develop your professional, social and linguistic skills, introduce you to a new culture and new friends from all over the world and give you a CV that stands out from the crowd.

In 2006 students from Scottish universities went to countries as diverse as Slovenia, Uzbekistan and Mexico.

Most of our placements take place in the summer,and last from 8 - 12 weeks and all include a salary to cover the local cost of living.
