The University of Glasgow Faculty of Education was commissioned to research six case studies showing good practice in the use of Foreign Language Assistants (FLAs) in Scottish Schools. They have also looked at ways in which FLAs can help achieve the aims of the new Curriculum for Excellence.
These case studies are also available on this page or on-line through the Modern Languages pages on Glow, the digital intranet for schools, supported by a discussion group and sharing practice forum.
Each of the case studies below are listed by local council and features Foreign Language Assistants who have worked in schools within their authority.
