sangs a’luv an piktirs: lævs fae lost pæpirs;
græns a’saand, ir stoor, ati’skrievins kum fae Puerto Madrin
ir Nova Scotia;

bit jun’s fu wi maniech, dæ apo dæ;
da shæd o a poppie apo a ungkin
postiech stamp, a bloo’at maks da lift
mær rekkibil a hævin; fu da spieriet

byds apo a fly-læf ir a dowd
postmerk; fu da sjaadoo
træks’im hem
fæ dæs a’mint an doontøm;

an ay da gjaains-on
a’distins: da mødoos an mænrodds
lentin awa ta a lied lang lost:

a kolli lowin aa nyght, ati’sum fram winnik;
