The UK's largest museum and gallery event took place in Glasgow in 2007, and was attended by a group of museum professionals from China and Hong Kong.
The Museum Associations' annual conference and exhibition brought together over 1,000 sector professionals to discuss many of the issues that museums and galleries face today.
The conference - which was held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre and aimed to inspire and influence the people in and beyond museums and galleries who will shape their future.
A large delegation from China and Hong Kong took part. The delegation included representatives from the National Museum of China, Guangdong Provincial Museum, Nanjing Museum and the HK SAR Government who shared their ideas and experiences.
One of the main topics of discussion was the China-UK Connections through Culture programme. The programme's aims were to develop further cultural co-operation between the UK and China with a view to improving overall relations, including diplomatic and trade ties.
