A current employee of Neptune Recyclers responsible for operations, Sikander serves as the Director for the National Road to Rio+20 Campaign and as a columnist and reporter for Earthlanka.net. He has initiated several climate-focused grassroots initiatives in his community as well as nationally and has been involved in several policy papers on climate change and sustainable development. He is a past president of the Rotaract club of Spectrum, and a British Council Climate Champion and Global Changemaker. Sikander is a graduate of Isipathana College and earned a first class with distinction degree (B.Sc) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Microbiology from Spectrum Institute of Science and Technology, an outreach campus of University of Mysore.
