Rio Delegation

The British Council convened a delegation of accomplished eco-entrepreneurs and emerging leaders from its global youth network at the Rio+20 Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to meet with influential organisations and decision makers and showcase their successful green enterprises and initiatives at the Conference. Selected on the basis of their proven leadership skills, previous participation in global forums and innovative eco-solutions, the 11 British Council delegates hail from nine countries in four continents and are members of the British Council’s ‘Global Changemakers’, ‘Climate Champions’ and ‘E-idea’ (which is organised with LRQA) programmes.
