Motivation to participate in the British Council Rio Delegation

Attending UN Conference on Sustainable Development will help me to meet people from different backgrounds than mine, grasp new concepts and share my ideas on ensuring that the future of this planet and human society is based on sustainable lifestyle and use of renewable energy. With my presence I would like to highlight that people should look beyond the immediate future and beyond to just profit generation.

Expectations for Rio+20

Energy and sustainable cities are two topic which I am most interested in. I would like to take part in depates and discussions on importance of promoting renewable energy and sustainable communities. I hope Rio will set the direction for future work on in achieving access to sustainable and energy efficient homes to everyone. I also would like to share my expertise in running sustainable community projects.
