Why is our delegation unique?

 

 

The Delegation’s objectives at Rio+20 include the following:

1. Improve participants’ knowledge, insight, and exposure to sustainable development, green economics, food security, and eco-entrepreneurship issues
2. Serve as a platform to exchange knowledge, ideas and best practices of what works most effectively at the grass-roots
3. Showcase innovative ideas from across the British Council’s communities to the policy and decision-makers present in Rio
4. Represent youth voices and experience in the UNCSD process
5. Provide an inside-look at Rio from the delegations’ perspective
