What are the benefits of visiting your partner school?

meeting face-to-face provides a solid base for the development of a joint curriculum partnership
you can share best practice.
you can develop a better understanding of the structure and organisation of your partner school

What funding is available?
Funding is available for teachers and headteachers to undertake short visits to a partner school in any country to set up a curriculum based partnership or develop an existing link.

Travel, board and lodging costs can be funded. The maximum grant per person for a visit within Europe is £500. Higher travel costs for visits further afield can be considered.

Who can apply?
Teachers and headteachers from primary, secondary, and special schools, sixth form and further education colleges in England and Wales

When should I apply?

The next deadline for applications is Friday 6th February 2009 (for visits taking place from 1st May 2009 onwards)

Welsh schools wishing to apply for a visit taking place before the end of March 2009 have until Monday 15th December to submit their application
