If you are a school teacher in England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Ireland and interested in starting or developing a school partnership as part of the East West programme, you may be interested in attending our contact seminar being held in Cardiff in January 2009.
Teachers and Headteachers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland interested in developing a joint project between their school and a school in Ireland and vice versa, also local authority staff who support such partnerships. There is the possibility of 3-way partnerships between Ireland/Northern Ireland and one of the other countries mentioned above.

Download the application form and send it to it to the relevant office by 09 January 2009. The principal/headteacher of the school must countersign the application form confirming agreement to the teacher’s participation in the seminar.
This year’s partner-finding seminar will take place at the Thistle Parc Hotel, Cardiff from Friday 30 January to Sunday 01 February 2009.
Standard class return travel from home to the contact seminar venue, accommodation on 30 and 31 January and all scheduled meals. Unfortunately we cannot contribute to supply cover costs. Please note that we can only acccept one participant per school. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application after 09 January 2009 and should not book travel until notification of the outcome has been received.
