How to Register (new students)

Riyadh
In Riyadh you need to visit the British Council to book a placement test.

Jeddah and Al-Khobar
In Jeddah and Al-Khobar you can come to the British Council on registration days without booking in advance. Check the times for men and women.

• Fill in a registration form with your personal details
• Pay your placement test fee 50SAR (fees should be paid in full payment for registration, reservations are not acceptable)
• Take the writing and speaking tests (on the day and time you have booked if in Riyadh)
• A teacher will explain your assessment, recommend a course level and show you our schedule for course days and times
• Show your placement test result and make payment
• Check the course details on your booking form carefully and make sure you bring this with you on the first day of the course.

The placement test, finding out about your course, and booking your course will take about 90 minutes.

Refund Policy

If you cancel your place before the first lesson, you will receive a refund of your course fee minus an administration fee of SAR 50. After the course starts, we cannot give you a refund, because it is too late to give your place to somebody on the waiting list.

If your company is paying for your course, you can cancel your place and your company will not be charged. The sponsor must send written notice of cancellation before the first lesson, otherwise the full course fee will be charged.

We may cancel a class if not enough students enrol. If your class is cancelled, you will receive a cheque for a full refund.
