The FCO, the British Chevening Scholarships, in partnership with Newcastle University is pleased to announce one joint Newcastle/Chevening award for talented graduates and high-flying young professionals from Russia who are seeking a unique opportunity to study in the UK and acquire new skills and knowledge.

Newcastle University is now one of the UK’s leading international universities. They have a tradition of welcoming students from all over the world and currently have more than 2,400 international students from more than 100 different countries.

Newcastle University has an international reputation for high quality teaching and cutting edge research. The University has developed a range of teaching and research interests which span a wide and varied range of subjects. The award is available on a competitive basis for the one-year programme and is open to the following postgraduate courses:

The terms and conditions of the joint Newcastle/Chevening scholarship are absolutely identical with those for the core British Chevening Scholarships. The priority subjects, the selection criteria and the selection process are the same. The only thing you should do if applying for the joint Newcastle/Chevening scholarship is to mark Newcastle University and the preferred course as your first choice in the application form in Part D.
