Joint Chevening Awards

The FCO, the British Chevening Scholarships, in partnership with University of Glasgow is pleased to announce one joint Glasgow/Chevening award for talented graduates and high-flying young professionals from Russia who are seeking a unique opportunity to study in the UK and acquire new skills and knowledge.

Established in 1451, the University of Glasgow is one of the UK’s oldest and most prestigious seats of learning, recognised internationally for its groundbreaking work. The University is one of the top 100 universities in the world (Times Higher World University Rankings 2006) and was named 'Scottish University of the Year' as part of the annual Sunday Times University Guide.

The award is available on a competitive basis for the one-year programme and is open to the following postgraduate courses:

MSc European Politics
MSc International Politics
MSc Political Communication
MSc Human Rights and International Politics

The terms and conditions of the joint Glasgow/Chevening scholarship are absolutely identical with those for the core British Chevening Scholarships. The priority subjects, the selection criteria and the selection process are the same. The only thing you should do if applying for the joint Glasgow/Chevening scholarship is to mark University of Glasgow and the preferred course as your first choice in the application form in Part D.
