2. Short-listing (November 2009)

Application forms are reviewed and a number of candidates are selected for interview. Applications rejected at the short-listing stage can not be considered for interview.

3. Interview (November 2009- February 2010)

Candidates are invited for interviews. Interviews are held in English at the British Council office or at the British Embassy in Moscow.

4. Final decision (February-March 2010)

The candidates’ application forms and interview reports are reviewed by the selection board and the list of winners is approved.

Successful candidates must provide the British Council with evidence of their English language skills in the form of IELTS grades. They must also supply proof of an offer of a place at a British University.

Successful candidates are responsible for selecting their place of study and for applying to institutions in the UK.
