Chevening Scholarship

Application submission for Chevening 2010-2011 is closed

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in December 2009–January 2010. Due to large number of applications we will not be able to contact candidates whose applications were not shortlisted.

The selection process involves short-listing and interviewing.

All candidates must conform to the following requirements:

  • Have a good level first degree from a recognised Russian university
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the area of the chosen career
  • Be a Russian citizen living in Russia and intending to return to Russia after study in the UK
  • Have a track record of achievement and excellence
  • Have a clear idea how the scholarship will benefit Russia afterwards
  • Have excellent English language skills (to be confirmed later by an IELTS certificate – not less than 6.5 points out of 9 – or analogue)
