Chevening Scholarship

The British Council is no longer accepting applications for 2009-2010 British Chevening Scholarships. The application process is now CLOSED.

The application process for the 2010-2011 Chevening Programme will open in July 2009.

The Chevening Scholarship covers the following expenses:

  • Tuition fees at a British University for a full-time course of study lasting from 3 to 12 months costing £12,000 maximum
  • Living expenses (monthly stipend)
  • Arrival and departure allowances
  • Thesis allowance
  • Travel costs to and from the UK (one round trip)
