Booker shortlisted UK author A.D. Miller is visiting Moscow on the 30th November – 1st December to take part in the 14th Non/Fiction Book Fair and to present Russian edition of his fascinating debut novel “Snowdrops” published in October by Phantom Press to Moscow audience.

The Krasnoyarsk Dom Kino will host the II International Media Art Festival on the 6th - 8th December 2012. Drew Hemment, the founder of the Media Art Festival FutureEverything in Manchester (Great Britain) will take part in the festival with the support of the British Council.

Art-group CoolConnections and British Council are proud to present the new 2012-2013 season of NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE in Russia. The season will begin with the encore screenings of "The curious incident of the dog in the night time"which will be shown in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg on November nd December 2012

Moscow Government, Moscow Department of Culture, Museum “Moscow House of Photography” Multimedia Art Museum with support of British Council present the first solo exhibition in Russia of the renowned British artist Marc Quinn «The Big Wheel Keeps on Turning». The exhibition will take place from 26 October to 16 December 2012. To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, the British Council co-hosted an in conversation session with Marc Quinn . This year the renowned Edinburgh World Writers’ Conference celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. In Russia the World Writers’ Conference will take place on November 1-3 2012as a part of the Krasnoyarsk Book Culture Fair. Famous UK authors Theresa Breslin, Melvin Burgess and Tibor Fischer will discuss with the Russian readers some of the major literary issues.
