New British Film Festival

New British Film Festival is a unique event in Russian cultural life which celebrates the best and brightest new work in contemporary British cinematography. This year Moscow hosts the 11th anniversary of the British Film Festival.

When: 28 October – 7 November 2010
Where: "Formula Kino Gorizont" cinema hall (“Evropeysky” Trade Centre), metro station Kievskaya

Programme

Films that are annually selected for the Festival’s programme have been honoured with the most prestigious cinematographic awards. Many of them won prizes at London, Berlin, Edinburgh film festivals, and many others.  

British Film Festival gives a unique chance to watch original and fascinating movies by world-famous directors of the highest quality and professionalism. All films are shown in English with Russian subtitles.

Guests of the Festival

In the framework of the Festival various meetings and round-table discussions with leading British actors, film experts, and directors will take place.  These attract a lot of media coverage and put the festival on an international footing making it an important event in the cultural life of Moscow.

Competition
