The aim of the event was to share the outcomes of the second round of exploratory grants, to raise general issues around the concept and models of Knowledge Economy (KE) partnerships and to announce the next round of grants for the 2013-2014 year.

The event got together representatives of higher education sector in Russia and the UK dealing with international projects and partnerships.

The event featured input from project UK consultant - John McGovern, currently a freelance expert in higher education and innovation management.

The input was illustrated by the case studies from 4 Universities who took part in the grant scheme and questions and answers sessions.

The next round of the exploratory grants was announced.
