The British Council Russia organised a Summer School for teachers of English which was held in Moscow on August 17 – 28, 2012.
This was a 10 day intensive course for teachers of English focusing on developing teacher training skills. The language of instruction was English.

The overall aim of the school is to raise the capacity of the participants in designing, delivering, and evaluating teacher training sessions.
The content will be designed by the course director and tutors to enable participants to develop their capacity as teacher trainers in practical and interactive way.

Micro-training |
The sessions include interactive plenary and team writing activities with opportunity to trial and discuss the developing materials through micro-training.
We selected 25 participants and we were looking for applications from experienced, forward looking teachers and teacher trainers

For successful applicants the participation in the summer school was free. British Council covered accommodation and meals for the duration of the summer school.
You are not eligible to apply if you already participated in British Council Summer schools or other intensive training programmes.
