Blogathon 2012 has finished in Russia and we are delighted to announce the winners!
We want to thank all the participants who took part in this event. Just what it sounds like - a blogging marathon. The TeachingEnglish Blogathon is an online event that brings together teachers of English to share good practice in ELT and find out more about blogging. It started on 23 January 2012 and teachers of English in Russia will contribute to the TeachingEnglish ELT blog marathon until 02 March 2012. Click here if you are not sure what a blog is.
The blogathon is taking place at TeachingEnglish website The winners will be announced on the virtual awards ceremony on 6 March 2012 here and on our Facebook page.
The blog posts will be evaluated according to the criteria by a panel of English Language teaching professionals. Criteria can be downloaded here.
The teacher who has written the most outstanding blog posts will get iPad 2!
The runner up will get an e-reader.
5 active contributors will be awarded ELT methodology materials.
3 teachers who were most active in commenting on other’s blogs will be awarded cool British Council TeachingEnglish bags!
