Impossible community
8 September – 6 November 2011

Under support of the British Council on 8 September – 6 November 2011 the British artists Jeremy Deller and Sonia Boyce will present their art-works at the exhibition "Impossible community" at the State Museum of Contemporary Art (Gogolev Boulevard, 10).

The project is a result of a multi-aspect research work effectuated by Moscow Museum of Modern Art in collaboration with a renowned Russian curator Viktor Misiano. A lot of leading Relational art artists participate in the “Impossible community” project. This trend is highly recognized and relevant today, even though it is largely based on the traditions of both avant-garde art and European art of 1960 – 1970s.
