UK modern art - Russian insight

About the project
We launched a new project devoted to contemporary visual British art - Russian Ring. During the first stage of the project twelve curators from different Russian cities (Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, and Sochi) traveled to the UK where they spent two weeks visiting UK exhibitions and museums.

Project participants
12 Russian museums and 14 UK museums are involved in the project.

Modern British Art in the Museums of Russia
The curators of the museums got together in August 2006 in Novosibirsk and Samara to discuss traveling exhibitions of contemporary British art that would be shown in all the museums participating in the project.
