We launched a new project devoted to contemporary visual British art - Russian Ring. During the first stage of the project twelve curators from different Russian cities (Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, and Sochi) traveled to the UK where they spent two weeks visiting UK exhibitions and museums.
12 Russian museums and 14 UK museums are involved in the project.
The curators of the museums got together in August 2006 in Novosibirsk and Samara to discuss traveling exhibitions of contemporary British art that would be shown in all the museums participating in the project.

The exhibition covers all the main subjects that interested Henry Moore throughout his long career, highlighting his treatment of texture, light and depth of tone in the mediums of etching and lithography.
