How can I choose a programme for study in the UK? Is it possible to consult someone in the British Council regarding this choice?

You may select the education programme independently or turn for consultation to one of the education agencies the list and contact details of which are available on our website in the “Education UK” section. You can also use the search system that will help you to select the needed course on your own, It is available at EducationUK website.

The British Council does not offer services on selection of education programmes and institutions to study in the UK.

What are the possibilities of finding job in the UK during or after the graduation from a UK university?

How can I select a stipend for studying in the UK? Which stipends does the British Council administer?

Does British Council offer English language learning courses?
The British Council no longer offers English language learning courses. The Teaching Centre has been closed since December 2006. We do not offer recommendations on what language courses to select, but we offer a range of materials online for self-study. Please visit «Online English» section on our website.
Does British Council administer exams?
From 1 January 2008 the British Council no longer administers exams. You can find the contacts details of certified centers where you can take exams in Russia on our website in the «Exams» section.
Does British Council have a public library?
The British Council public library has been closed since 1 January 2008. All the materials were handed over to the Library of Foreign Literature named after Rudomino fund. Read more...
