Challenge Europe
The first public meeting of Slovak Climate Advocates took place on 24 October 2008 in Poprad at the Aqua City. The advocates presented their ideas to an invited audience of experts in science, business, NGOs and general public.

Champion nominated
Rishika Das Roy, Indian Climate Champion, is one of five candidates selected to win the International Children's Peace Prize, with her nomination receiving personal endorsement from Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary-General.
