We are inviting children and teenagers from grades 3-12 to join the BritTeen Club. The aim of the club is to help them interact in English and develop their personal and social skills. As BritTeen members they will:
learn how to understand people around them and to accept their opinions |
learn how to integrate themselves in their group of friends |
find out interesting things about human rights and European values |
learn about other countries’ traditions, customs, religions and life styles |
develop themselves through drama techniques |
The themes for this year are: “Learning from stories, learning for life” (for primary school students), “Our present –a gate to our future” (for gymnasium students) and “Learning how to manage your life” (for high school students). Just as in past years, the students will have the opportunity to choose one of the optional seminars: drama, journalism, debate, photography.
The teachers who will lead the BritTeen activities are selected based on British Council professional standards. BritTeen members enjoy a free library membership during the whole period of their studies. Those wishing to become BritTeen members must posses knowledge of English at an intermediate level.
