Discover the Humanitas science books through BBC documentary films

The event was organized in partnership with Humanitas Multimedia & Cinema Studio and was dedicated to the elite high school’s students and teachers from Bucharest. The project tried to make the high school students discover the charm of the science books.

When?

Every Tuesday, from 7 February, at 8.00 a.m., for a period of eight weeks, at Cinema Studio.

What happened?

Vlad Zografi, editor of Humanitas - Cartea de Stiinta collection alongside with his guests – mathematicians, physicists, biologists, astronomers - have met with students from ten Bucharest national high schools to watch and talk about a science documentary film produced by the BBC.

The students that asked the most interesting question have received a Humanitas book, a cinema ticket and a one year library subscription at the British Council.
