Our courses aim to answer present-day issues in the teaching of English in Romania and to contribute to the teachers’ professional development. Therefore your suggestions for further topics are most welcome.

We offer a discount of 5% and 10% for the registration for the second and subsequently the third course in the academic year 2012 - 2013.

Each of these courses can be repeated on request, anywhere in Romania. If you are interested in organising one of these courses in your town, please write to us at contact@britishcouncil.ro.

In addition to the professional development courses for teachers, we are also organising seminars for teachers who prepare candidates for the IELTS test and Cambridge ESOL exams.

9TH ANNUAL BRITISH COUNCIL MADRID TEACHERS’ CONFERENCE

Practical classroom activities: live streamed talks – 29 September, from 11.00 a.m.

This year, British Council Madrid has once again selected four sessions from their annual teachers’ conference to be live streamed professionally.

Focusing on Practical Classroom Activities, but with an introduction to the British Council´s new test, Aptis, education professionals from all backgrounds (teachers of young learners, teens, or adults; those working in language institutes, bilingual schools or other learning organizations) definitely enjoyed the talks given by leading writers and award-winning authors such as Graham Stanley, as well as a host of classroom practitioners.

The talks were available on live streaming below on Saturday 29 September, from 11.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
