Learn English in the United Kingdom

Whatever your plans for the future, there is no doubt that being able to speak English will give you a major advantage. Where better to learn the most widely spoken language in the world than in the country of its birth?

  • more than 600,000 people come to the UK every year to learn English.
  • schools are accredited and inspected by the British Council and meet a set of quality standards. Accreditation UK, run by the British Council and English UK, is the quality assurance scheme for the UK language centres. Accreditation provides students with a guarantee of choice and quality
  • there are about 370 accredited centres in the UK, details can be found at www.educationuk.org
  • course offer range from general English to professional courses from summer camps for children to exam preparation courses or the International Baccalaureate

You can register to English language courses in the UK directly to any of the accredited language centres or through an education agent in Romania who will help you find the best programme to suit your learning needs. Please take a look at the list of education agents. The agents work closely with accredited language centres and are involved in training programmes supported by the British Council.
