English Teaching Centre Bucharest
Welcome to our centre!

Our Teaching Centre in Bucharest is part of a world-wide network of British Council language schools. It was opened in September 2000 by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and offers language training for private individuals, companies and government institutions.

Teaching Staff

All our teachers are professionally qualified and have a minimum of two years' experience in teaching English as a foreign language. Continuous professional development is a priority for our teachers, meaning you can be sure you are taught by someone who uses the teaching methods most appropriate for your needs.

British Council Teaching Centre Bucharest

Our English Teaching Centre is located in the recently-refurbished British Council building in the centre of the city on Calea Dorobantilor 14, five minutes from Romana square.

The British Council Teaching Centre in Bucarest has 12 well-equipped classrooms with multimedia access including Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs). We also have one dedicated multimedia room with Internet access, which, together with a range of language learning programmes, are used for computer assisted language learning.
